Trail Bay Mania
Being located along the Bay comes with many perks. One of the major trails in the 500-mile San Francisco Bay Trail which includes sections consisting of the East Bay. It starts with a 12-mile section from Emeryville to Richmond that traverses water views and parks followed by loops at Berkeley Point. There’s also a nice 6-mile section between Point Isabel and Richmond for those interested in alternate routes. For those looking to try new non-traditional trails, the Bay Bridge trail is a recent 4-mile path construction that accommodates pedestrians and cyclists with separate paths and of course, comes with all the views the Bay Bridge has to offer. If you are planning an Oakland 10k run starting in Oakland, then you can access this trail through 210 Burma Road. This path also connects Emeryville with Yerba Buena Island in San Francisco. Other new paths near Oakland include the Redwood regional Park offering trails shaded by 150 ft. high redwoods and has grasslands and evergreens. Remember that the East Bay is well connected by the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), so you can go further out and try the Tilden Park East of Berkeley or enjoy the loops of Bay Farm Island in Alameda as well!

In short it’s quite simple. Basically you will sign up for your race just like any other race. Only differences is you will choose the state you plan to complete your distance in. Also when reporting your finishing results make sure you also choose the state you finished in. Once complete we will send out your State themed finisher medal!
