The Woodward Park trail is famous for its 5k Fresno races that include the California State Cross Country Meet, Central Section Cross Country Championships, and school elementary meets all through to National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Running here allows you to access the Lewis Eaton trail that runs along the Eastern and Southern parts of the Park and also lets you connect to the “Cow Loop” towards the north of the Park. Another must run is the San Joaquin River trail that offers many uphill and downhill challenges with picturesque views of the San Joaquin River and the Millerton Lake. One can access this trail from the South Finegold Picnic area. Finally, the Sugar Pine and Old Town Clovis trails are a great place to run. These trails were a result of a collaboration between Fresno and the City of Clovis to give people more space to work out. In short it’s quite simple.  Basically you will sign up for your race just like any other race.  Only differences is you will choose the state you plan to complete your distance in.  Also when reporting your finishing results make sure you also choose the state you finished in.  Once complete we will send out your State themed finisher medal!
