About this Virtual Running Challenge

The Angry Elf 100 Mile Challenge is a virtual running and walking challenge that is designed to help you get motivated during the cold winter months ahead! Starting December 1st 2020 participants are encouraged to get moving!  Run or Walk, inside or out we challenge you to complete 100 miles.  There is no mandatory date that you have to complete by but many will challenge themselves by doing it within 30-45 days!  It’s your challenge you set the pace.

How does the Angry Elf 100 Mile Challenge work?

The Angry Elf 100 Mile Challenge is a virtual challenge that participants can choose to either run or walk 100 miles.  This challenge starts on December 1st, 2020 but participants can choose any date after that to begin their challenge.  Also, there is no required amount of time that the challenge needs to be completed by.  Set your own goals whether you want to complete in 30 days, 45 days, or 60 days!  The main goal is to push yourself to reach that finish line of completing 100 miles.

When do I receive my swag?

The Angry Elf 100 Mile Finisher Swag will begin shipping the first week of December 2020.  We do prefer that you complete the 100 miles before you receive your finisher medal but you can email us to request us sending prior to completion.

Is there a designated event hashtag for the Angry Elf 100 Mile Challenge?

There most definitely is! Use the #AngryElf100 hashtag on your social media posts. Feel free to also tag us @virtualrunchallenge .

Is there an official Facebook Page or Group for the event?

Yes, we actually have an official Facebook Group as well as our Strava Club you can join.  Both, are great ways to connect with other participants as well as find motivation and support.

Where can I log my daily activity?

The best way to keep track of your activities is to find a calendar and write down what the activity mileage is each day. Fitness apps like Apple Health and wearables like Fitbit, Garmin, and Suunto watches are also a great way to track your daily mileage. Officially you can submit your activity miles via your Haku account.  Don’t forget to share with us through social media what you are doing to stay active!
